The refurbishment of the historic train sheds in the centre of Swindon to provide a new technical training college. The project involved the installation of M&E services into the existing sheds, grade 1 listed school building and new build welfare, seminar and science class rooms to form a link between buildings.

The majority of M&E services within the existing buildings were surface mounted so required to be aesthetically pleasing, this was made especially difficult due to existing roof structure and supports remaining and not being structurally suitable for modern services installation.

The M&E installation included 2 plant rooms and an electrical switch room which were located in the last phase of the project but had to be up and running for the first phase hand over.
